Small Staff Marketing Workshop
Small Staff Marketing Workshop

February 2 and May 5, 2010
8:30am - 3:30pm
Mathematical Association of America Conference Center
1529 18th Street, NW

Individuals that are brave enough to work in small staff associations face challenges that are not found in associations that are larger in staff size. Small staff professionals tend to wear multiple hats and be the masters of multiple domains.  Regardless of how small the staff is at any associations membership, marketing and branding are critical to their long term success. This unique, hands-on seminar was created to serve the unique needs that small staff association professionals face each and every day.

Goal: Our goal is to provide targeted, high level marketing expertise at a fair price in a convenient location.

Format: Our unique format strikes a balance between podium presentations, interactive roundtables and facilitated conversation. We have purposely developed a structure that optimizes the knowledge and expertise of the presenters, facilitators and the attendees. Unlike association-sponsored conferences for which we are frequently speakers and sometimes planners, the advantage of this format is that it allows a small, well defined group of individuals to learn together—making some friends and learning more than one can from a single audience question on what makes this special.

CAE Credits:  5 (attendee must submit to ASAE)

Presenters: Cedric Calhoun, Matthew D'Uva, Nancy GreenShira Harrington and Sam Horn.

"Homework" Before this we will ask all registrants to think about their challenges and what they want the speakers and the other attendees to help them address. This is a true workshop so the more participants come prepared the higher the ROI they will receive.

BONUS - 1 copy of Sam Horn's books, Pop! and Tongue Fu!, will be raffled off at each seminar.
